A Creative Odyssey
is an inspiring true story of two unique men; one with a strong determination to foster his talent for art and to make his own way in the world, in spite of being paralyzed, with only the use of his right arm; the other, a gifted and inventive self-taught designer/builder. It is an uplifting story that touches the heart at many levels.

One reviewer said, “--- This is a true story of Americana, with threads of interesting historical detail supplied by the author. The most compelling aspect of the book is the human drama – how people respond to challenges, whether their own or someone else’s. This is not history writ large, but the rich history of extraordinary people you find next door to you.---”

Let Me Be a Light...

With a unique and thought-provoking Afterword written by Father Ron, this book chronicles his fascinating life story. A Vermont native, raised as a Methodist, he converted to Catholicism while in the Army as a 1st lieutenant being trained in Bavaria for his Counter-Intelligence assignment in West Berlin.

He returned to the US and entered the seminary to study for the priesthood. During that time, his spiritual mentor, Maria von Trapp was instrumental in providing support and encouragement.

After being ordained a Catholic priest, his ministry included serving as a parish priest in Vermont, then as a High School Chaplain in Montreal for 12 years. He rejoined the Army as a chaplain with the rank of captain at the age of 50 serving in Germany for several years. He saw duty in the First Gulf War, “Desert Storm”, which resulted in physical and emotional scars.

He retired from the Army and served as a Veteran’s Administration official for several years.

Now Senior Priest in Residence at Saint Mary Parish, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, he has provided this author with much wonderful material and was instrumental in developing this biography.
